The ALPS 150 (Automatic Line Punching and Shearing) is a complete processing system for punching, marking, and cutting angle iron, channel, and flat bar.

Punching Head

Punching Tonnage: 80 Tons
One Punching Station for each leg of the angle profile.
Each head is equipped with 3 punches, which can be individually selected through the controller.
Punching capacity of 1-7/32" through 1/2" thick material.
Adjustable punch stroke by means of limit switches.
Suitable for punching channel in the web and flat bar.
Bridge type closed frames for support and rigidity.
Hydraulic Stripper
Punching Heads mounted on tempered linear guide rails.
Hydraulic positioning of punching head, positioning accuracy ensured with proportional valves and linear encoders.
Positioning tolerance +/- .003"

Shearing Head

Shearing Tonnage: 200 Tons
Cutting capacities of 6" x 6" x 1/2" for angle iron, 4" for channel, 6" x 1/2" for flat bar.
3 sets of blades to cover 2-1/2" to 4" channel.
Direct access to blades for quick change
Adjustable cutting tool stroke by means of limit switches.

Marking Unit

Marking Tonnage: 80 Tons (Adjustable)
Control unit can select 5 different marks
Each mark has a row of 10 digits with 3/8" height.
Quick-change character holder
Mounted on tempered linear guide rails.
Manual positioning of marking head

Fagor Windows-based CNC Control

Easy programming using Windows-based software
specifically designed for the ALPS 150.
Programs stored in database for easy re-call.
Includes modem to link to technical support.
Includes network card for communication with LAN.
Compatible with any structural design software.

Feeding System

The profile is fed through the machine by two sets of synchronized rollers
driven by a brushless AC motor and controlled by the CNC Controller.
Feeding speed from 0 to 120'/min.
Positioning accuracy +/- .003"
