National Product Manager

COMEQ has been the exclusive United States distributor of GEKA Ironworkers since 1980. Through our select group of dealers and our direct in-house sales force, we will show you how the GEKA machines will be the best ironworker you will choose. Consider us your ironworker consultant. We can make our recommendation based on your requirements. For the majority of situations, GEKA Ironworkers are absolutely the best machine and the best value for the dollar.

This strong statement can be proved if you take just a few minutes to read on. We cannot cover every point here that would be covered in our on-site demonstrations withour fleet of mobile demo trucks, catalogues of the product, HD videos or in a sales presentation; but we will list those points that should absolutely be considered.

GEKA bring automation to your door.  Traditional time-consuming practices of measuring, marking, soapstone lines, etc. have been taken over with the introduction of the GEKA line of semi and fully automated machines. CNC technology continues to prove itself in the market as a means of cost control, quality assurance and, in the end, a better product for your customer. The GEKA Semi-Paxy, our most popular CNC machine, is an X-Y coordinate positioning table utilizing your choice of either a Fagor 102 CNC Control or a Windows-based touch-screen control with GEKA Pro PC software. The Semi-Paxy may be factory fitted onto any GEKA Ironworker or Single-End Punch with a 20" or larger throat. In addition, we have two demo trucks featuring our semi-paxy machines that travel the country,  bringing ironworker automation to your door!

GEKA Ironworkers are extremely well constructed. All GEKA Ironworkers (single-cylinder and dual cylinder) feature a mono-block construction, adjustable gibs in the machine frame, a fully enclosed slide, easily replaceable blades, jack bolts in the machine frame to avoid the need to shim after flat bar and angle blade sharpening, and a wide range of options to custom tailor the machines to fit your needs.

GEKA Ironworkers are productive. The machines provide more built-in working stations than most competitive machines. Tool change and set up time is what costs YOU the most money. On GEKA Ironworkers, there is minimal tool change time because of the built-in blades (for angles, flats, rounds, squares, notching, and optionally for channel or other sections), quick change punch holder and jog mode; resulting in quicker response time to fabrication requirements. So for probably less cost per month, you can use a GEKA, the most cost-efficient machine available. GEKA also offers special pricing on its wide range of optional accessories (more costly from others, if they are even available). GEKA offers a special "Productivity Package" on Hydracrop models, including a punch gauging table, a notcher gauging table, a work light, and a 40" electric length gauge. All GEKA Hydracrop machines offer 3" & 4" combination channel blades, as well as, multiple-opening round & square bar blades as standard. All GEKA Ironworkers come standard with 10 sets of round punches and dies and, of course, use standard punches and dies available from many manufacturers around the United States.

The company you keep. Our 4th generation family company has been in business since 1918 and continues to thrive due to its personal approach to the metal fabricating machinery industry. COMEQ offers all its customers full product support in numerous ways, including factory trained service technicians who are available to assist you with any servicing needs by phone, fax or e-mail as well as scheduled visits to your shop; Videos on select products are available at no cost for use in employee training and maintenance, as well as self guided start-up CD’s for interactive training; Seminars on selected topics for continuing education as well as a yearly open house offering you the ability to utilize our knowledge and see new product. In addition, our network of dealers around the country are available to review your requirements and provide another level of customer service.

We have no doubt that a GEKA ironworker will meet and exeed your needs and look forward to the time when you tell us, as many do, "I am ready for my second GEKA. I don't know how I did without it for so long".

I look forward to working with you and earning your business.

Best Regards,
