When you compare a ROUNDO Angle Bending Roll
to the competition, you get:
Heaviest Frame Components - for added strength and reliability
Largest Diameter Roll Shafts - to minimize deflection, improving bending results
Largest Roll Shaft Bearings - for greatest efficiency and longest life
Highest Drive Torque - makes easy work of even the heaviest sections
Greatest Bending Roll Force - generated by the rolls,
providing the largest section modulus capacity
Most Powerful Guide Rolls - to efficiently take the twist out of the heaviest sections

ROUNDO Model R4H
Construction:
  • Welded steel frame from heaviest components of any competitive machine for added strength and rigidity
  • Only machine in the industry with stress-relieved frames
  • Largest diameter roll shafts of any comparable machine, made from high-strength chrome-nickel steel, journalled in SKF spherical roller bearings
  • Three-roll double-pinch (pinch-pyramid) design -
       the choice of the industry!
Drive System:
  • All three bending rolls are driven at all times
  • Greatest drive torque of any comparable machine
  • Infinitely variable rotation speeds
    (Models R4H, R5, R6 only)
  • Automatic compensation for the difference in surface speeds of the inner and outer circumference of the section being rolled via torque limiter
Controls:
  • Operating controls conveniently mounted in a portable control box on most models
  • Controls designed and located to enable the operator to stand at the position
best suited for viewing and safety during bending

Bending Roll - Rotation and Adjustment:
  • Two lower rolls individually and hydraulically adjusted by hydraulic cylinders
  • More bending roll power generated by the three rolls than any comparable machine
  • All three rolls are driven regardless of their adjustment position
  • Electronic Digital Readouts or Dial Indicators for the position of the rolls
Guide Rolls:
  • Largest, most powerful Guide Rolls of any machines, to take the twist out of the most massive sections
  • Hardened steel Guide Rolls, including "leg-in" guide rolls, standard
